Packaging
Every piece is ceramic, handmade, and one of one. Because of this, each sculpture is packaged individually in a custom-built wooden crate with internal foam support, designed specifically for its unique shape. This level of care is non-negotiable, given the fragility and singularity of each work.Shipping cost and timing
Shipping is calculated individually based on your delivery address and confirmed at the time of your inquiry, before any payment is made. Once a piece is secured and packaging is complete, it is shipped via FedEx or DHL, with an estimated delivery time of 7 to 14 business days.All shipments are delivered duty paid (DDP), meaning all applicable duties and import taxes are paid in advance. You will not be asked to pay anything additional upon delivery.
Insurance
All shipments are fully insured for their declared value during transit. A tracking number will be provided as soon as your piece is dispatched, so you can follow its journey at every step.Collection and dispatch
Pieces are shipped from our studio in Medellín, Colombia. Once your final price and shipping details are confirmed, your piece will typically be dispatched within a few business days, depending on packaging production time.If you have any questions about shipping to your specific location, reach out before completing your inquiry and we'll be happy to help.

The nature of our pieces
Every piece is an original, handmade work of art, created once and never reproduced. Because of this one of one nature, all sales are considered final once a piece has been confirmed and payment has been received.Damaged in transit
If your piece arrives damaged due to shipping, please follow these steps within 48 hours of delivery:Photograph the exterior packaging before opening it, if possible
Photograph the piece and any visible damage clearly
Email us at hi@danielaromeroartist.com with your order details and the photographs
Because all shipments are fully insured, damage claims will be handled personally and as quickly as possible. As each piece is unique, a damaged work cannot be replaced with an identical one, and resolution will be discussed directly with you.
Change of mind
Given the limited and personal nature of each collection, we are unable to offer refunds for change of mind once an order has been confirmed. We understand that acquiring a piece is a meaningful decision, and we encourage you to take the time you need before completing your inquiry. If something exceptional comes up, please reach out, we evaluate these situations individually.Cancellations before shipping
If you wish to cancel your order before your piece has been packaged and dispatched, please contact us as soon as possible. Requests made before shipping will be considered on a case by case basis.We care deeply about every piece finding the right home. If something feels off, talk to us directly.
