This piece is a reminder that attachment creates friction. We hold so tightly to people, to places, to versions of ourselves and versions of how things should be, that we stop being able to see what is actually there. The expectations we build in our minds become the very walls that keep us from receiving what life is trying to offer us. Suelta is the moment we finally put them down.

Letting go does not mean losing. It means trusting that what is meant for us does not require force. That the things we grip the hardest are often the ones keeping us stuck. When Romero created this piece, she was sitting with exactly that. The understanding that detachment is not indifference. It is one of the most courageous acts available to us. To release the story we have been telling ourselves and allow a new one to begin.

The forms move the way release feels. Unresolved, organic, still becoming. Because letting go is not a single moment. It is a practice. And every time we choose it, we make space for something we could not have imagined.
